T20 Oval Surrey v Sussex Sharks

 After talking to driver Steve on Friday night about cricket I checked it out and there was a T20 match on . 

Tony Eileen Steve Paula all busy . But I’m free and it’s bank holiday and it’s a gorgeous day . So bought sausage rolls and scotch egg packed together with my new Decathalon cap ( couldn’t find my broken Albanian sunglasses. 

Caught the 1237 and arrived at Vauxhall with hour an half to spare. Enough time to soak up the atmosphere. 

Had a wander around the outside and amazed at the prices .£14 fish and chips , £8 sausage , £7.50 beers .glad I had my water and snacks . 

Basked in the sun . Moved to another part of the ground no problem . Good atmosphere . Banter between spectator and players .

Surrey lost in the last over . Was texting Steve who was listening on radio . 

Trains are good but needs to be home as Thames water we’re coming out to fix the drains .
