Tony and me caught Hampton court train at 1625 to Vauxhall . The England v Australia test was in its 5th day with an exciting end . So loads of people watching big screens . It didn’t finish by the time Matvh started at 1830 so we used one ear pod each listening to bbc sounds It didn’t have an excellent finish as Surrey scored 240 runs and Glamorgan lost wickets as they chased . The runs . Unlike the Surrey v Middlesex game a few days later where Surrey set a record 253 and then Middlesex matched it with a record 254 . A good night . Home at 2230/2300 ish . I’m

Wild rice , lentils and chilli
I’ve had this pack of black wild rice in the cupboard for yonks.H gave it to me and now that I’ve ran out of Basmati rice it’s time to cook it . Yikes 60 to 70 minutes to cook . I did put a broth flavour in bbc with the hot water . I haven’t got the greatest of taste buds this wax absolutely delicious . I had it with curried lentils and chilli con carne . It hit the spot . I shall make this again . Such a delicious meal .
