Ctc Wayfarers Christmas Lunch

 

Brrr it was a very cold start today so I wrapped up really warm , gloves , buff for the ears , Lycra bottoms but still my toes get extremely cold . 

Led by Christiana , with Fixie Dave , Tony Hooker , Bob ,  Chris the new guy and me . 

We met at Cobham being the first Wednesday of the month. Mince Pie and a cuppa before starting off. The target was The Ángel in Thames Ditton so a shortish route so we did a few loops around Molesey and Thames Ditton to ensure we don’t arrive too early . 

I sat next to Grant and Alan with Tim C opposite , a little further down parkrun Anne and Berlingo Pat . 

Once again this year the food was great , service top notch and Pam with her great laugh had organised to a tee. Tony Hop had dressed in Santa outfit and fished out some chocolates . A nice touch . 

Jennie J. gave me my cycling top but sadly it was too large . Informed so we’ll wait and see .
