The skip arrived on 5/April and it’s been moved so it’s nearer the red garage .    On 23/May it is still there - full . 8th week . 

   I heard noise very early in the morning which is unusual as its a quiet close . The time is about right as I had an online meeting at 0730. Well all it was the three workers had arrived and were chatting outside. But at 0740 the banging started and noise coming from the back area. So I checked the Surrey website an ========== What time can building work start in Surrey? Normally the hours for noisy works are:  8am - 6pm on Monday to Friday . 8am - 1pm on Saturday. no noisy works on Sundays and Bank Holidays. ==========

   We were tending the garden , gathering old leaves , cutting back the shrubs and just had left overs for lunch. Generally enjoying a nice spring day.  We were disturbed but tried to ignore it.  I was called a pathetic old man at which point I returned to the house to get my mobile phone. Heidi my friend  remained in the garden.  After informing that I was going to record on the mobile the garden was entered and the mobile was tried to be snatched from my hand and was called again a pathetic old man and turned to my friend and said that I was mental .  The police have been informed and legal advice sought. Moving forward the advice was not to post the video on here but to send a written notification. We are left shaken and uncomfortable.  The garden is looking good though . 

 The following are cuts from public documents to be found on the  Land registry  Elmbridge planning The proposal is to build the extension on the neighbouring property’s garden area .  It is unacceptable the boundary creep . And this is what is called permitted development !!! ( sarcasm ) 

    Extremely disappointed that notification of the application was not made , knowing that the intended extension will  block light coming into the house and garden, block the view of blue sky , trees and holly bushes full of the colour of spring. Imposing a design , colour , material and dimension of a garden boundary.  The proposed planning is going to destroy the openness of the view not only from the garden area but from all of the kitchen area and breakfast area.  There is going to be an extreme loss of light to the back of the house and a pleasant view destroyed. A lot of time is spent in the garden . It’s a garden open to soil and shrubs where the birds and neighbours’ cats come to hang out . 

   The first post to describe how unhappy this process has made my life.
